Today we had a valuable school safety conversation with all of our students. While the conversation is very important each staff member tailored the conversation to be appropriate for the age level of the students. In grades 5th, 6th and 9th-12th we watched the Run, Hide and Fight video created by the FBI to educate students and staff on best practices for survival. The video was not shown to any elementary students under 5th grade. The video is attached here, so that if you want to view it as a family and discuss it with younger students you can make that decision as a family. Thursday, Oct 2nd A huge day for the Wildcats!:
🏈 JH Football is on road to Springdale with kick off at 4PM
🏐It's PINK OUT at the JH Volleyball games as they host ACH in Creston at 4PM
🏐Our NE 1B #1 ranking HS Volleyball team goes head-to-head with Mary Walker in Wilbur. JV @ 5PM followed by Varsity at 6PM.

Friday, Oct 3rd @ 7PM:
🏈Friday Night Lights! HS Football travels to Inchelium. Let’s roar from the stands and fuel our Wildcats!

Saturday, Oct 4th:
🏐HS JV/V Volleyball hits the road for another conference game to face Valley Christian. JV @ noon followed by Varsity at 1pm.

Healthy Youth Survey 2025 – Parent Information

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please see the attached information regarding the Healthy Youth Survey 2025. The survey will be administered on October 9th to all students in grades 6–12.
The survey is completely anonymous, and students may choose to skip any questions they are not comfortable answering. The data collected will be combined with responses from students across Lincoln County to help identify the greatest needs for youth services and resources in our community.
Copies of the informational materials are available in the high school, junior high, and elementary offices in the Wilbur and Creston Schools.

If you do not want your student to participate, please contact the school office your child attends by 8:00 a.m. on October 9th to have your student added to the opt-out list.

Senior Spotlight - Volleyball Champ - Samiah Smoger 💙🤍 "I have played volleyball since 7th grade and was part of one year of club volleyball with Wolfpack, along with participating in numerous volleyball camps. Over time, my love for volleyball grew. In my early years, I honestly didn’t expect to love it the way I do now. Volleyball is truly a team sport and has taught me leadership, kindness, communication, hard work and competitiveness. It has brought me some of my closest friends and my best friend—people I know will love and support me whenever I need them. Volleyball has also given me a second family. My favorite experience isn’t just one memory—it’s every time I look into my teammates’ and coaches eyes after a win. Volleyball has truly given me not just my friends but also another family."

Last night the Creston gym was absolutely buzzing with energy as our JH volleyball girls went head-to-head with Nespelem! The crowd was loud, the plays were fierce, and the future of WCK volleyball was shining bright on the court! A huge shoutout to Coach Emily and the HS volleyball team for showing up, cheering loud, and backing the next generation of HS Wildcats, your support made the night electric! What a night for WCK Volleyball!
