2024 Fall Youth Sports Opportunities Flag Football Kinder (age 5 by 8/31/24) - 6th Grade -Registration forms will be going out the first week of school and available to print on our website under the WC Youth Sports tab (due Aug 30th) -The 5-week season of games will be played on Saturdays starting the 4th Saturday in September. WC/ACH Volleyball - 3rd -6th grade -Registration forms will be going out the first week of school and available to print on our website under the WC Youth Sports tab (due Sept 4th) - September 9 - October 26, 2024 - Practices alternate between Wilbur, Creston, and Almira. - Games will be on Saturdays starting September 28.

Wa Kids Conferences are coming up! This will be held on the first three days of school, Aug 28-30th from 8am-3pm at Creston Elementary & Wilbur Elementary for Transitional Kindergarten / Kindergarten students. Please email or call the school to set up a time to come in. See below for the office hours for the Elementary secretaries. In Creston, the first day of school for Kindergarten will be Sept 3rd. In Wilbur, the first day of school for Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten will be on a rolling start. Your student will be placed in either group A or B. Keep on the lookout for communication from your students teacher. What a difference a couple days can make! Thank you the Creston School District Facilities Director Aaron Kelp and for OSPI for approving our Healthy Kids-Healthy Schools grant. Mr. Kelp coordinated the resurfacing of our Parking Lot which looks awesome and will expand the asphalt life considerably. The grant funds from OSPI have us almost with a new, working Walk-In Cooler and Freezer in the Creston Kitchen! Great things are happening.

Parents of current students should be receiving a packet in the mail today, it will include a registration letter, district calendar, and school supply list. Please make sure all contact information is current to keep up to date on school related information.
