The WISE team (high school students) celebrated kindness week by creating a flowers and a kind note for every high school student locker and every classroom door. It was a surprise, so every student in high school and was welcomed with a note this morning. Even Max the turtle got one.
And look at this beautiful quilt Miss Truscott's TK class made! They experimented with fabric painting and created this masterpiece. Thank you to Rhonda Luiten for quilting the pieces together ❤️

Today our seniors signed up for college credit for Business Communications class. Thank you Mrs. Rosman and Mr. Read from NEWESD 101 for supporting our kids in their ability to gain another 3 credits of college while in High school.

15 High School students are headed to the FBLA Winter Conference today at Columbia Basin College to compete in several events such as Business Law, Human Resource Management, Advertising, Job Interview, Cyber Security, Digital Video Production, Business Communications, Journalism, Client Services, etc.
What do they do?
Some of them take multiple choice tests and some events require a role-play scenario (for Client Services, they have to pretend that a customer has an issue with an order and the students role play a problem-solving scenario).. Other events, such as Digital Video Production require the kids to create a video based on a specific topic. This year's topic is to create a video to promote tourism in a city of their choice.
The events are judged and the top 3-4 move on to compete at the State Conference in Bellevue in April.
