The Creston Alumni Association was formed in September of 1995, organized and operated exclusively for educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) Internal Revenue Code. Its purpose is to provide annual scholarships for graduates of Creston High School and to hold an annual reunion for all alumni and staff of the Creston School.

Scholarship funds are raised through various ways. Spring & fall newsletters are mailed to all alumni and staff providing an opportunity to join (annual dues), to contribute to the Scholarship or Endowment Fund, and to register for the reunion, held the second Saturday in September, where raffles bring in additional funds for scholarships.

The Alumni Association has also received matching grants from the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Community Scholarship Matching Grant Program. We have been very fortunate to receive a total of $22,000 in matching grants from 1997 to 2011; $6,000 for our Scholarship Fund, and $16,000 for our Endowment Fund.

Please refer to our newsletters for a current list of our Board of Directors and their phone numbers, for scholarship reports, financial reports, donation contributors, and articles and photos.
