Reminder: there is No School on Monday Sept 28th in observance of Native American Day at Wilbur and Creston School Districts.
On Friday we had the honor of participating in a Traveling Museum with the Colville Tribes at Wilbur Schools. The students visited 5 stations that included Smudging, Stick Games, Language/Craft, and Drumming.
Thank you to the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation for coming to our school and letting us learn and participate in your history and traditions.
Congrats to the WCK HS Volleyball Varsity team for placing 3rd at the Quincy Tournament today!

Calling All Helping Hands!
Wilbur Elementary is getting closer and closer to being completely moved back in, and we could use a little help from our community!
Tomorrow, Thursday Sept 24th, after school, we’ll be moving the remaining boxes and furniture into place. If you’re willing and able to lend a hand {even for a little while} we would be so grateful! 💙

Due to the emergency announced yesterday, Deon will still be unable to transport students for the remainder of the week. Please note the following temporary transportation changes:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Afternoon:
Keller parents/guardians will need to pick up their students at Swawilla or at the school. There will be no Keller bus transportation from these locations to students' homes.
Thursday and Friday Morning:
The Wilbur-Creston bus will provide transportation from the following locations:
Keller School - 6:30 AM
Swawilla - 6:55 AM
Parents/guardians will need to bring their students to one of these two locations Wednesday morning. There will be no home pick-up service in Keller.

We are to the end of our University of Washington and JED grant that has supported our students and staff with mental health awareness and resources. To wrap up our grant we are completing an end of cycle survey. We will be completing this survey the week of October 5th. The survey is anonymous and the results stay with our JED team. If you would like to opt your student out of this survey please click on the link and follow the prompts. Students who are opted out will have an alternate activity during the survey.

Because of your willingness to give your time and jump in wherever needed, we were able to welcome our students back yesterday for their first day of the 2026–27 school year and it went off without a hitch! 🎉
After everything it took to get to that first day, seeing our students back in the building made it all worth it.
Thank you for helping make our first day possible. 💙
